Sample the iconic Japanese flower before flower-spotting in Sydney as the pink trees begin to bloom.
In Japan, the iconic cherry blossom trees look their best in April, but in Sydney they are about to come into full bloom.
To celebrate, the Japanese cafe Oh Matcha has created a brand new cherry blossom soft serve that will be available from Thursday 11th August until the end of the month. But for three hours on the first day, a mini version of the cone costs just $1.
The limited edition flavor is made with vibrant pink sakura powder; you can also enjoy it in a cherry blossom latte or an ice cream sundae. It has a subtle adzuki (red bean) flavor and edible flowers, plus matcha powder on top.
The $1 soft cherry blossom mini dinnerware is available today from 5-8pm.
