Altona Theater puts on a string of great performances with an all-Australian lineup

Delivering over three big nights, the Altona Theater will be putting on a huge string of performances over the coming months.

With performances by Didirri and Mo’Ju on August 25, the critically acclaimed Emma Donovan & The Putbacks with The Meltdown on September 22 and Vica and Linda with support from James Henry finishing the series on October 27, it’s a must-see series of performances. It’s all part of On the road again, a government initiative aimed at bringing back live music across the state.

Live from the Altona Theater presents:

  • August 25: Mo’Ju and Didirri
  • September 22: Emma Donovan & The Putbacks, The Meltdown
  • October 27: Vica & Linda, supported by James Henry

Hobson’s Bay City Council’s Live from the Altona Theater also supports artists through a range of professional development opportunities, including workshops including Transforming Ideas into Fundable Projects, Support Act Sessions and Sound Step Studios. “Altona Theater is one of the few purpose-built theaters in the west of Melbourne, and it will make for a very special and intimate experience. We can’t wait for our local community and people from Melbourne to come and experience live music in the heart of our city.”
