Beam – Canberra’s fleet of spunky purple e-scooters – has partnered with The Cultural Icons, 13 of Canberra’s most iconic attractions, to offer visitors a deal that allows them to ride around Canberra in style.

The 3-day Cultural Icons pass costs $24.95 for unlimited rides (up to 120 minutes per day) and is available for purchase in the Beam app.

These limited edition passes also give users the chance to access dedicated Beam scooter parking spaces at the Cultural Icons, making it a breeze to scrape between attractions – all while enjoying Canberra’s beautiful fall weather.

Australian cultural icons include the Australian Institute of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies, Australian Parliament House, Australian War Memorial, Museum of Australian Democracy, National Archives of Australia, National Capital Authority, National Film and Sound Archive of Australia, National Gallery of Australia, National Library of Australia, National Museum of Australia, National Portrait Gallery, Questacon and Royal Australian Mint.

With The Cultural Icons all within a short distance of each other, it’s the perfect way to tick off your Canberra bucket list and leave all the worries of parking behind.

National Museum of Australia Assistant Director, Public Engagement Mark Goggin explains that The Cultural Icons is a new way of seeing Canberra as the home of our history and culture.

“The Cultural Icons initiative showcases Canberra as Australia’s cultural heart, telling the story of Australia in 13 immersive settings, including the important stories of Australia’s First Nations peoples,” he says.
