Best Fortnite Duos from Season 1 3 Cash Cup + Promising New Teams

Wondering who will be the best Fortnite Duos this season? These are some people to keep an eye on.

This weekend was the first Duos Cash Cup of Fortnite Season 3, and a chance to see which teams are in shape for the FNCS in July.

As usual, there has been a lot of chopping and switching, with a few tier 1 pros still on the hunt for the perfect partner.

In Europe it was Th0masHD and trippernn who were victorious after round 2. They placed 3rd in last season’s FNCS and will try to keep up the momentum.

Other big names in the top 10 were Kami and Setty, and JannisZ and Vadeal.

A particularly exciting newly formed duo is Anas and Queasy, who finished in 6e† Their playstyles complement each other very nicely, plus they also came 4e in the Sommerset Cup, and even teamed up with Th0masHD to win both the EU and NAE Zero Build Trios Cups on Friday!

Despite a decent 10e place, Hen and Pinq will not stay together. Pinq was supposed to fly to the US to partner with Clix, but Visa issues forced a last-minute change of plans.

Unfortunately, this failed first trial means that both Pinq and Hen are still scrambling to find someone for Season 3.

On the other side of the pond, however, Clix has been more fortunate to quickly lock up a duo. He will play with two-time FNCS champion Duke. They narrowly missed qualifying for this weekend’s Cash Cup final, but there is definitely potential.

The No. 1 spot on NAE went to Cented and Cold, who have now won four of their last eight Cash Cup Finals. In C3:S2, Cented took his 5e FNCS silver medal. In the end, he will definitely get that Pickaxe of Champions.

After playing together since before the Fortnite World Cup, FaZe guys Dubs and Megga broke up at the end of last season. Dubs will team up with Degen and a 3 . in the futurerd finishing in the Cash Cup has given them a fantastic start.

There’s another dangerous looking new duo in 8eplace also; Peterbot and Rocaine. Personal differences came between reigning FNCS champions Peterbot and Bylah, but the former has already found a strong replacement and they seem to be a close match.

With just under two weeks left until Season 3 FNCS qualifiers begin, the folks who did well last weekend are in a prime position to pop. Those who have yet to complete a duo will have to put in some time to get ready for week 1.
