on Concern, CLAMM says they’re exploring the confusion of what it’s like to be a young person trying to live an honorable life in this shitty world. New album Concern is bigger, louder and darker than the previous album beg me (2020). CLAMM recorded every moment in 2021 in the most closed off city in the world, followed in Rolling Stock and Sound Park Studios with Nao Anzai (NO ZU, Cash Savage, Rolling Blackouts).
Concern‘s first single a bit much came out in April, and second single Monday in June. They have been featured in the playlists of Double J and Unearthed, thrashed by community radio, broadcast on BBC 6 Music, Radio 1, KEXP and Apple Music. beg me was a Triple R and FBI Radio feature album. Originally released by the band on cassette, it was re-released on vinyl by UK label Meat Machine (home of Canadian art-punk provocateurs Crack Cloud), earning CLAMM top punk nods from Spin, Bandcamp Daily and KEXP in 2021.
In Australia, the band played with Wolf Alice, Amyl & the Sniffers, the Chats and the Murlocs, and played Boogie, Melbourne Music Week and Meadow. After their Australian leg, they will embark on a European tour through the UK, the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium.
