Delegates ask for help identifying human remains in Lowell | News

LOWELL, Oregon — The Lane County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for help identifying the human remains found near West Boundary Road late last month.

On May 26, the LCSO responded to a call and found human remains near West Boundary Road in Lowell. Preliminary investigations revealed that the victim had died in suspicious circumstances a few weeks before the remains were found. Investigators from the LCSO have not yet been able to identify the victim and have released more details about the remains in an effort to get the public’s help in identifying them.


Deputies say the victim is an adult woman between the ages of 30 and 50. She is believed to have had dark hair and is between 5 feet and 5 feet-8 inches tall. Deputies say the remains were found wearing a white “Huf” shirt with green stripes with the sleeves removed, and a light-colored elephant print shirt.
