The nonprofit DigitalC has hoped to bring high-speed internet to downtown Cleveland, but progress has been slow. Can the group turn that around?
CLEVELAND, Ohio — Residents of northeast Ohio had every reason to believe DigitalC would bring Cleveland into the modern age.
DigitalC, formerly known as OneCleveland, and later OneCommunity, had a track record of providing high-speed internet to Northeastern Ohio. In 2012, the group had connected 2,300 schools, libraries, hospitals, etc. to the Internet.
