Dinner with friends at Paramount Recreation Club

Head to the Paramount House roof garden for an intimate evening, featuring chestnut gnocchi, squash agrodolce, hand-selected wines and more.

There’s nothing like Paramount Recreation Club, the gym and downtown oasis atop the Paramount House Hotel in Surry Hills. The wellness area also hosts high tea, sunset drinks and a Flex Mami party. It will then set the stage for an intimate Sydney small business dinner collaboration.

Right Angle Studio — which owns the Rec Club and Golden Age Cinema & Bar downstairs — is launching a new range of dining experiences in beautiful places, starting with the Palms Springs-esque rooftop.

It has put together a strong local lineup for the inaugural event. There will be a three-course fall themed menu from Mediterranean-inspired catering company Aplenty (which de pamphlet national editor Sarah Norris) with house-made chestnut gnocchi, sagefritti and squash agrodolce. The tablescape is styled by the team behind Nonna’s Grocer and its fruit-shaped candles; Cultiver provides the table linen for the night; and wine comes courtesy of Mildura’s Mandi.

Tickets cost $145 per person and include dinner and a cocktail on arrival; Hand-selected wines will be available for purchase on the evening.
