CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – The first Downtown Farmer’s Market of the year was held May 28 in Cedar Rapids.
This was the first time the Downtown Farmers Market has had no COVID-19-related restrictions since 2019. In 2020, the event was canceled due to the pandemic. The 2021 edition was held with certain restrictions, such as spacing and a single flow direction, to limit the spread of the virus.
This year, more than 150 suppliers took part in the event.
The event continues throughout the summer every two Saturdays through September 17 from 7:30 am to noon. There will also be a special Market After Dark on August 27 from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM
More information about the inner city market can be found on the website.
