The person was rescued safely from the embankment by a rescue team from the Ottawa Fire Services.
The Ottawa Fire Department (OFS) responded to a call about a person who fell off a steep embankment at the intersection of Bank Street and Riverside Drive on June 24.
The call came just before 5pm and the person was being looked after by paramedics when an OFS rescue team arrived on the scene to bring the person back to street level.
The person was safely removed from the dike just before 5:20 pm by the rescue team with rope
