Patrick Properties has leased Stakehill 185 for 15 years to the digital sports platform.
Fanatics, which offers sports equipment, collectibles, and sports betting and gaming services, will move to the unit later this year when the plan is complete.
Triton Construction is building the 185,000 sqm unit, which has a BREEAM rating of ‘very good’. The work should be completed later this year.
Patrick Properties was jointly represented by Savills and B8 Real Estate.
Stakehill 185, designed by Fletcher Rae, is located on Stakehill Industrial Estate in Middleton. Fanatics joins existing occupiers Tesco, Aldi, Booker, Toolstation and Yodel.
Prior to the 2009 acquisition, the site previously housed a 190,000 sqm regional distribution center for Sainsbury’s.
Jordan Kennedy, director of Patrick Properties, said: “The partnership with Fanatics at Stakehill 185 is a testament to the hard work, dedication and dedication of everyone involved.
“Through careful consideration and attention to detail across design and supply chain, we are on track to deliver the build ahead of schedule.”
Jonathan Atherton, Industrial and Logistics Director at Savills Manchester, added: “Stakehill remains one of the most desirable industrial sites in the region and we saw great interest in this unit from the start of the construction process.
“We are delighted to have completed this lease to Fanatics and to help support their growth in the UK.”
