Catch a free show from the trailblazing Australian rapper, featuring sets from up-and-coming solo artist Kee’ahn, party DJ Soju Gang and neo-soul group Izy.
Live music is Melbourne’s beating heart and for its new late night event series Art After Dark, Fed Square is bringing it back to the Main Square stage with a ripper lineup.
The free performance is led by Australian hip-hop pioneer, rap powerhouse and proud Yorta Yorta man Adam Briggs. Also on stage are Kuku Yalanji, Jirrbal and Badu Island artist Kee’ahn, who rose to fame in 2020 with the release of her debut single better thingsMelbourne party DJ Soju Gang and neo-soul supergroup Izy from the Far North.
Stick around after the concert for the debut of star signsan Australian first installation by light artist Joanie Lemercier, with an accompanying soundscape by producer Paul Jebanasam.
Fed Square is also extending its opening hours for Art After Dark that weekend, with an exhibition of work titled This place by Yorta Yorta, Gunditjmara and Barkindji artist Josh Muir. He was working on it when he died at the age of 30, and it is shown with the blessing of his family. All sales of his art will be used to support his two children.
