International Self-Care Day is July 24 | 10 books to change your life

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Sunday, July 24, 2022 is the 11th annual International Self-Care Day. “Self-care” was once a bad word, even if it’s two words. Not anymore. Today it is widely recognized that self-care is essential to the well-being of the world.

Self-Care Day is a perfect time to think about what contributes to your well-being and make plans for your physical and emotional health. When you’re healthy, you’re a better participant with family and friends, with work and the world. When you know you matter and take care of yourself, you are a better part of everything else.

Self-care can be difficult, so we’ve gathered books to help. Because journaling has been proven to lower heart rate and reduce mental and physical stress, many of these books use journaling to go deeper. They include guided and solicited journals. Check out these options to determine how to be your best.
