A man has been taken to hospital in serious condition after a stabbing in Elizabeth Vale in north Adelaide.
Emergency services were called to Pasteurstraat around 1:45 PM after a man broke into a house.
According to the police, the intruder was confronted by the resident who stabbed him in the stomach.
A witness said the resident dragged the injured man down the street to take him to nearby Lyell McEwin Hospital for treatment.
Shortly afterwards, the man was transported by ambulance to the Royal Adelaide Hospital in serious condition.
According to the police, the resident is assisting the police in the investigation.
They are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident to call Crime Stoppers.
