Karl Hab’s new book is a love letter to Paris

Photo books are a dime a dozen, but Karl Hab has redefined the genre day by day. The famed Parisian photographer is back with another enchanting book in his 24H series, this time from his beloved hometown of Paris.

Hab, a certified aeronautical engineer, leaves no rocks untouched as he offers countless viewpoints from ground to sky. Limited to only 500 copies worldwide, this first edition book also includes an introduction by colette co-founders Sarah Andelman and Colette Roussaux.

His latest release comes to us as the third installment in his 24H series, with previous books focusing on Hong Kong’s towering architecture and LA’s unique landscape. What started as an idea to share his focused perspective in selected cities has been transformed into a trilogy of moments set in time. The 216-page book is an ode to aesthetics – composed chromatically at a pace that progresses from cool to warm tones. One can only wonder how Hab manages to squeeze so many subjects into just twenty-four hours while still charmingly portraying the City of Light.

While we can’t all master space and time as well as Hab, you can buy his latest release and his past Hong Kong publication from the Highsnobiety Shop.
