NBA champion and Cleveland Cavaliers forward Kevin Love and Canadian model Kate Bock walked down the aisle in New York City last weekend — at a glamorous Great Gatsby-themed wedding.
Bock and Love got engaged in January 2021 after almost five years of dating. And it was their own photographer who matched them.
Allan Zepeda, the photographer who captured the newlyweds’ special day, was also responsible for introducing the two in 2015 when they both had their photo taken individually with him in New York.
“It was everything. The ceremony was perfect, the venue glowed, the guests laughed endlessly and we couldn’t have felt more loved. We only wish we could have lived longer every moment,” Bock wrote on Instagram after the wedding. †
Former Cavaliers teammate LeBron James was in attendance, accompanied by his wife Savannah, Agent Rich Paul and Grammy award-winning singer Adele.
“Congratulations again to you and your beautiful wife,” James wrote on Instagram of Love’s marriage.
Also in attendance were Cavaliers teammate Darius Garland and Utah Jazz guard Jordan Clarkson, who was Love’s teammate from 2018-2019, according to Vogue Magazine. The ceremony also featured members of the 2016 Cavaliers final team JR Smith, Richard Jefferson, Channing Frye and James Jones. In addition, Los Angeles Lakers security guard Russell Westbrook appeared at the event along with his wife Nina. Love and Westbrook were college teammates at UCLA in 2008.
“Everything from the venue and the children’s gospel choir singing during the ceremony to the sea of black and white tuxedos and dresses and Kate—a vision coming down the stairs—made it an unreal and unforgettable experience,” Love told Vogue.
