Our client, a leading, highly respected, internationally recognized book publisher, is seeking a Key Account Manager to manage accounts in the mass market, non-commercial sector and trading books.
You sell a diverse range of excellent leading licensed and character-led children’s books and book-related products that sell well in all book and non-book markets.
You will acquire an established portfolio of some of the leading national retail accounts and you will develop business with national retail Key & Special Accounts within the mass market children’s book and book plus sector.
The publishing house produces unparalleled ranges of well-known bestselling character & licensed book products. It is a varied role with the ability to create custom book packs for your accounts.
We are looking for candidates with account management skills for retail, high street or special sales accounts in what is now an established and growing market sector. You will need experience in a sales environment in books or toys or even DVDs or perhaps related products.
This role would suit a commercially minded self-starter with drive, who would like to be part of a small friendly team selling children’s book products. You must have good communication skills and be highly commercial and goal oriented and able to manage a varied workload well.
