man has been rushed to hospital after being shot in an east London street.

Police received a report about a firearm being unloaded in Albion Drive, Hackney, around 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday evening.

Police and paramedics arrived on the scene and found a man, believed to be in his 20s, with a gunshot wound.

He was rushed to hospital for treatment and police said they are waiting for an update on his condition.

There’s a crime scene in an area near London Fields.

No arrests have been made. Police say the investigation into the shooting is still ongoing.

Officers approved a Section 60 warrant for the entire Hackney borough following the shooting from 8:20pm Tuesday to 1:20pm Wednesday.
