Three children were found dead in a Los Angeles home last weekend and their mother was arrested for a murder investigation, police said Monday.
Officers responded to an assault call at the San Fernando Valley home at 7:40 a.m. Sunday and found three minors who did not respond, said Officer Lizeth Lomeli, a spokesman for the Los Angeles Police Department.
Paramedics were called and they pronounced the children dead.
“The mother was on trial for three murders,” Lomeli said.
The woman was identified as Angela Flores, 38.
It was not immediately known whether Flores had a lawyer who could speak on her behalf. Online prison records showed she was being held on $6 million bail, with no court date set yet.
