Until last summer, Messi played for Real Madrid’s biggest rivals Barcelona, so he hopes they don’t win their 14th Champions League trophy later this month.
As reported by Standard, Aguero said before the game that he was afraid of City’s trip to Santiago Bernabeu.
He said, ‘I want to say I’m very nervous, I don’t know why, but I’m nervous.
I want City to go through it. I don’t know what Pep has in store, I think he hasn’t slept all night, I know him.’
Tevez, like most who watched Wednesday’s exciting game, was also stunned by Madrid’s comeback in their 6-5 aggregate win.
After Rodrygo’s second goal, he said: ‘It’s crazy, you can’t win another game like that.’
