The supporters for She-Hulk: Lawyer have made it look like Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk is the show’s second lead. He’s all about the marketing. And now he also controls the first clip released from the show. But we all have questions about this.

She-Hulk: Lawyer debuts on Disney+ August 17, starring ‎Tatiana Maslany as Jennifer Walters, a lawyer which ends with the powers of the Hulk. That makes sense, because she’s the cousin of Bruce Banner, played by Ruffalo in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, who apparently appears in the series to help her discover her newfound powers. You can see more of that in the first clip below. Then we will answer those questions.

“All the buzz, no barf.” Right.

So if Hulks metabolize alcohol “incredibly fast”, how does he get a buzz? Wouldn’t it look like drinking water anymore? Nearly nullified the effects of the drink? Unless of course you have to drink like, a lot, and what’s good about that? In theory, based on the argument that buzzing but not puking is a good thing, ideally you’d want to cut down on your drink — one or two drinks — and stop there. Instead, in this scenario, you just drank a ton for minor effect and just have to pee a lot. We do not see this as a bonus.

And how much do you think Ruffalo is on? She-Hulk? We haven’t seen any episodes yet, but we suspect he’ll be in the first episode when all these things happen, and then that’s it. Maybe he’ll come back at the very end of the last episode. It’s not cheap to have a Hulk on screen, let alone two.

Anyway, we have to admit that we saw Banner appear at the end of Shang-Chi and the legend of the ten rings, we’re more than a little curious about what he’s been up to here during phase 4, and especially how it will tie in with his cousin joining the universe.
