Over the next few months a number of works will be carried out by Major Road Projects Victoria (MRPV) as part of their Craigieburn Road Upgrades.
Craigieburn Road, between Champion Parade and Vantage Boulevard, will run from Friday, July 15 at 8pm to Monday, July 18 at 5am.
This is managed with temporary traffic lights operated by traffic controllers. Delays are expected and it is recommended that motorists look for an alternative route.
The ramp to the left of Craigieburn Road westbound to Mickleham Road will be closed to heavy vehicles on Saturday 1 July and Monday 4 July to Wednesday 6 July between 9.30am and 3.30pm.
Heavy vehicles should head west onto Craigieburn Road and make a U-turn at the Oaklands Road roundabout.
Light vehicles can continue to turn left at the intersection during this time.
Lanes in both directions will be closed on the Hume Highway through Wednesday, July 27 between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.
From Monday, July 4 to Monday, July 11, there will be speed limits and lane closures in the westbound lanes along Craigieburn Road between Hardy Avenue and Benston Street.
The pedestrian traffic lights outside Craigieburn Plaza will also be closed Monday 4th to Friday 29th July.
Pedestrians are advised to use the crosswalk at Hanson Road or near St Vincent’s Pathology to access nearby public transport options.
There will be no right turns into or out of Champion Parade on Craigieburn Road until 5am Monday 18th July. During this time you can still turn left and left.
Access to Debonair Parade from Craigieburn Road will be closed at 5am Saturday, August 6. Detours apply.
