Spider-Man: No Way Home had a ton of surprises that filled almost every Marvel Studios fan with joy. The film brought back Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire as Peter Parker/Spider-Man and it was spectacular to see them team up with Tom Holland. Another surprise the film gave us was the reintroduction of Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock/Daredevil. While unfit to be a vigilante and working with Spider-Man, his cameo was one of the film’s highlights. One fan thinks they should have given us a peek at the movie version of the Daredevil costume and has even taken the liberty of designing his own interpretation.
An Instagram artist going by the handle @Spdrmnkyxxiii has created a new piece of fan art depicting Spider-Man and Daredevil working together. In the fan art, the two are on a roof with Daredevil attached to a water tower. Daredevil’s costume is more comical than its serial version, but it’s a cool concept to say the least. You can check out the fan art below.
a new daredevil series is officially in the works and is expected to begin filming later this year with Cox returning, and he’s also expected to appear in a few other Marvel Studios projects. The projects he’s reportedly appearing in are Marvel Studios’ She-Hulk and Echo series that will be released this year and next. Cox recently had a discussion with Supanova and he revealed the future of his character.
“I don’t think I’ve done interviews” [since No Way Home’s release]† I still don’t know what the rules are. Obviously it’s now known that I’m in Spider-Man,” Cox revealed. “More than that, I don’t know, and of course the little I know I’m not going to say. But all I would say is that I was asked these questions for a long time and I honestly hadn’t heard anything. For years I got questions about returning as Daredevil, and the real truth was I 100% assumed it was gone, that the ship had just left. I haven’t heard from the folks at Marvel for a few years. It seems now that I lied for a long time, I actually wasn’t, I only lied for a while. You don’t want to ruin it for people.”
Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures describe the film as: “In Spider-Man: No Way HomeFor the first time in Spider-Man movie history, our friendly neighborhood hero is exposed and can no longer separate his normal life from the high stakes of being a superhero. When he asks for help from Doctor Strange, the stakes become even more dangerous, forcing him to discover what it really means to be Spider-Man.”
Starring Tom Holland, Benedict Cumberbatch, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Marisa Tomei, Jon Favreau, Andrew Garfield, Tobey Maguire, JK Simmons, Jamie Foxx, Alfred Molina, Thomas Haden Church, Rhys Ifans and Willem Dafoe. Spider-Man: No Way Home is now available in 4K, Blu Ray and digital download!
