Ontario just got a bunch of new lottery winners and one lucky one is now $55 million richer

An Ontario raffle ticket worth more than $50 million was recently sold in the GTA, but the winner has yet to be announced.

According to OLG, someone won the $55 million jackpot from Friday’s draw on August 5, 2022, and the winning Lotto Max ticket was sold “somewhere in Toronto.” So you better jump over there and check those numbers because you could be sitting on a fortune right now.

The winning numbers for the draw were 7, 16, 19, 33, 36, 48 and 49, with a bonus of 5.

As if that wasn’t enough to get you running and checking your ticket, OLG revealed that an Encore prize worth $100,000 was sold on the same day somewhere in Chatham-Kent.

Saturday also went hard for lottery wins, with another $6 million jackpot drawn in Toronto, alongside a Lotto 6/49 second prize worth $101,788.50 at Etobicoke and a $1 million guaranteed prize at Sudbury. .

A $1 million Encore ticket was also sold in the Timiskaming/Cochrane area, and another $100,000 worth was sold in Kingston.
