The team has attracted American defensive lineman Antonio Simmons, the team announced on July 27.
The 25-year-old last played in three games with the Montreal Alouettes during the 2022 season. Before that, Simmons played for the Edmonton Elks in the 2021 season after being traded by Montreal in his original stint with the team.
To date, Simmons has appeared in 30 Canadian Football League (CFL) games, posting 63 tackles, six sacks and a forced fumble.
The Florida native played with Georgia Tech for four years before being called up to the CFL.
