Rapper Blueface and his girlfriend, Chrisean Rock, were caught on video Tuesday morning engaging in a physical fight on the streets of Hollywood.
A source within the Los Angeles Police Department confirms that the agency has launched a preliminary investigation into the altercation, but has yet to verify the couple’s identities, as they left by the time police arrived. Whether the couple decides to sue each other, the LAPD will still prepare a crime report due to the seriousness of the standoff.

In the footage shared by TMZ, the pair are talking on the sidewalk when Rock begins to attack Blueface – whose real name is Johnathan Jamall Porter – while yelling insults at him. The two then begin hitting each other in the street and wrestling to the ground.
It seems the rapper tried to de-escalate the altercation at some points, climbing on top of Rock and pinning her to the ground while telling her to “Be calm” and to stop following him. His efforts did little to end the fight, which lasted the entire four-minute video.
Early Tuesday morning, Blueface shared a series of Instagram stories in which he claims the fight began over gaining control of a phone after discovering that Rock had allegedly been talking to other men. The video shows Rock in bed as Blueface accuses her of sleeping with a corrections officer in a New Orleans prison.
‘You all don’t know her. I barely know her. Went through her damn phone. She damned the commander in that damn prison. She sends the commander to the hotel”, he shouts, showing his black eye.
In the video, Rock denies the allegations as the rapper continues to accuse her of cheating with multiple people. “I’m only telling you this because you think she’s a solid bitch… She’s a good actor. I’m going to put you in a movie,” he says at the end of his Instagram stories.
This isn’t the first time Blueface and Rock have been in the headlines for their involvement in violent clashes – the two have been arrested, caught car theft and have had several other police encounters. Blueface recently released the single “One Time” on July 22, which hasn’t had the same level of chart success as 2019’s “Thotiana” – the upbeat LA party rap song that launched Blueface’s career and led to collaborations with YG and Cardi B.
