Sunday brings clear skies and summer heat to DC region

The DC region is enjoying pleasant weather with plenty of sunshine this Memorial Day weekend, so be sure to get out there and enjoy it!

A high pressure area hangs over the area leading to a clear and calm Sunday. The day starts out much cooler and less humid with temperatures in the 60s before peaks peak in the low to mid 80s. Clear conditions will allow the region to get plenty of sun on Sunday, so make sure to pack your sunscreen if you plan on staying outside for a long time.

Sunday night the skies remain clear and temperatures drop into the 60s, creating a pleasantly mild night.

Memorial Day Monday, the summer heat is making a comeback, so it could be the perfect time to hit the pool! Temperatures will rise to the 90s on Monday, where they will remain early next week. Tuesday will feel even more summery as high humidity returns and temperatures are expected to hit the mid-90s.
