The Vancouver Giants 2022 – 2023 Season

The G-Men kick their 22 . offnd season in the Western Hockey League on Friday, September 23rd at 7:30 p.m. at home against the reigning champions of the Western Conference, the Seattle Thunderbirds.

All eyes are on the LEC on Friday 25 Novembere when the ‘exceptional’ 2023 NHL Draft prospect Connor Bedard and the Regina Pats come to town for their first visit to Vancouver since 2018. This season will also mark the first time the Giants will host the Winnipeg ICE (Wednesday, October 19e) since they moved east from Cranbrook in 2019.

Other highlights of the schedule include:

– Four home games with the hosts of the Memorial Cup 2023, the Kamloops Blazers from Sunday 23 Octoberrd.

– Two separate five-game homestands running from October 7the – 21st and February 11e – 25e.

– A 2019 League Championship rematch with the Prince Albert Raiders on Wednesday, February 1st2023 – Prince Albert’s first visit to Vancouver since Game 5 of the 2019 WHL Championship Final.

– The Giants will host the Winnipeg ICE for the first time (Wednesday, October 19.)e) since they moved east from Cranbrook in 2019.

– ‘Exceptional’ 2023 NHL Draft Prospects Connor Bedard and the Regina Pats come to town for their first visit to Vancouver since 2018.

– Themed evenings will be revealed at a later date.

From October 27the and runs until November 18e, the Vancouver Giants will play a series of road games due to the 2022 World-Under-17 Hockey Challenge that will take over the LEC. That stretch of games includes a six-game swing through the Central Division with stops in Edmonton, Red Deer, Calgary, Medicine Hat, Swift Current and Lethbridge.
