Some Toronto street parking rules will not be enforced on Canada Day, police have confirmed.
Rules are not enforced and tickets are not handed out in places where signs indicate parking rules apply Monday through Friday, police said.
No parking rules are applied on rush-hour routes, meaning the public can park freely next to them on Canada Day.
Toronto Police Department said all other areas will continue to enforce parking rules through their officers on Friday, July 1.
