Ottawa firefighters faced a dangerous situation Wednesday morning when a fire they were working on burned some live electrical wires.
The wires separated and sparked around the site of the fire before the situation was resolved.
The Ottawa Fire Department was called to a location on Compton Avenue at approximately 10 a.m. where a trailer full of foam insulation caught fire in the lane of a home under construction near the Carlingwood shopping center. The call came in just before 10am
The fire service quickly brought the fire under control.
The damage was limited to some vinyl siding on the home.
There were no injuries.
The cause is being investigated.
