Volleyball and DIY karting – VR games on our radar this week

A DIY kart racer and a new volleyball experience are just some of the new VR games on our radar this week!

Every week we get a lot of updates about new VR games at Upload – so many that we don’t have time to cover them all. This week we covered news of Elden Ring’s VR mod, F1 22 and more, but here are some other titles we didn’t get to check out.

RaceMaker VR

RacerMaker VR has a simple but fantastic premise. You can build Hot Wheels style race tracks, adding different ramps and turns for unique tracks. Once done, you can race the tracks at full scale in a kart style racing game. The game is currently available on App Lab for Quest.

There is another free update for the VR shooter roguelite. This time we have some tweaks to the weapon handling and some major bug fixes. A new level is coming for the next update, which is expected to be released in July.

Virtua Volleyball

This is an ambitious online volleyball experience, soon to be launched in Early Access, where you compete with friends against budding rivals. VR could be a pretty natural fit for the sport, so we’ll be interested to see how it handles. The full game will launch later this year or early 2023 with multiple environments and a larger number of players.
