Watch Arcade Fire’s New Video “Unconditional I (Lookout Kid)”

Arcade Fire shared a video for “Unconditional I (Lookout Kid)” by WE† It plays a wobbly inflatable that dances in some fields, plays with some children and tries to make something of their lives. Check it out below.

The video was directed by Benh Zeitlin (Beasts of the Southern Wilderness) and edited by Affonso Gonçalves (Todd Haynes’ The velvet background† It follows the band’s performance of the song, along with “The Lightning I, II”, on Saturday Night Live this weekend, where the bouncy castles also made their appearance. Last week they announced a tour of North America with Beck and Europe with Feist.

In March, Arcade Fire released “The Lightning I, II”, their first single in five years, with a video directed by Emily Kai Bock. The sequel to 2017 Everything Now was produced by Nigel Godrich, Win Butler and Régine Chassagne. Find the rest of the credits and stream the album here.
