A girl who plotted online to kill her teacher and then stabbed her victim with a knife smuggled into the school has pleaded guilty to attempted murder.
The then 14-year-old girl, whose name cannot be disclosed, attacked the 55-year-old teacher at Willetton Senior High School in November last year.
It was previously announced that the teenager had discussed her plans with a then 13-year-old girl, also unnamed, via the online messaging app Discord.
The older girl later found a 10-inch knife and gave it to the younger teen to hide in her school bag, then returned it later that morning.
The girl was alone in an office with the teacher when she lunged, inflicting a wound on the victim’s armpit.
The girl appeared in Perth Children’s Court on Thursday and pleaded guilty to attempted murder.
She will be sentenced on July 1.
The younger girl also had to appear in court and pleaded not guilty to the same charges. She will face court on June 20.
Both teens are now out on bail.
